Willie Lee McLean

Mr. Willie Lee McLean, age 92, was born June 28, 1927 to the late Lucinda McLean in Harnett County, NC. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday April 30, 2020 at the home of his son on Minter School Road, Sanford, NC.

Wille was a commercial truck driver for many years until he retired. He drove for several trucking companies in the area. He loved sports and watching westerns.

He attended Murchison Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Olivia.

Willie was married to Mrs. Annie Bell McLean (Inez).

In addition to his wife, he leaves to mourn; his sons, Clarence McLean of Philadelphia, PA, Waymon McLean of Sanford, NC and Danny Pegues (Mary) of Cameron, NC; daughters Gracen Donald of Sanford, NC, Dorelene Durham of Chapel Hill, NC, Annette Burgess (William) of Jonesboro, SC; stepdaughters Brenda Jones of Sanford, NC and Hildred Williams of Goldston, NC.

Willie was preceded in death by one son, Waylon Durham.

He also leaves ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
