William Charles "Boy" Judd

Mr. William Charles “Boy” Judd, 61, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, North Carolina.

The family is accepting visitors at 1014 Goldsboro Avenue, Sanford, North Carolina.

William Charles Judd, known to most as "Boy Judd" or "Chucky" was born April 04, 1961. He passed away on the evening of May 30, 2022.

William was preceded in death, his Mother Gracie Cross(Coy), his father, William Junior (Coffee) Judd, his grandparents, Colon Judd Jr. and Jessie Ruth Judd; his aunts, Ruth Frederick, Mary McDougald, and Dorothy Judd; his uncles, Hubert and Henry Lee Judd.

William attended schools in the Chatham County School System. Over the years, he had many jobs, but he was most known for his job as a painter with his long-time friend Chris Harris. He loved to fish when he got the chance. One of his favorite things to do was watching college basketball and have a cold King Cobra or "snakies" as he called it. His favorite team was the Duke Blue Devils and he had no problem defending them to any Tar Heel fan.

William was a jokester for sure and was known for for doing a good two-step on the dance floor( that's all he knew). Although this was sudden, may we all find solace in knowing that he is now resting peacefully. 

William leaves behind three children, Brandon Blue of Sanford, NC, LaSonya Judd( Brittney) Cameron, NC, and Taneesha Judd New Hill, NC; two brothers: John Judd (Tylesia) of Durham, NC, James Judd of Siler City, NC; grandchildren, Ethan Blue, Jay'Ce Blue; an aunt, Lady Janie Pearson (Bishop James); one uncle, Leon Judd (Sonya) and numerous cousins, family, and friends.
