Vallie Burnette (Wall) Goins Obituary

Mrs. Vallie Burnette Goins, 74, of Aberdeen, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 11, 2025.   


“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that  day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8


Mrs. Vallie Burnette Wall-Goins “Noonie” was born on December 14, 1950, in Wadesboro, NC, to the late Bernice Morman, but was raised by her grandparents, Woodrow and Lille Wall, who  preceded her in death. She accepted Christ at an early age, while serving as a member Jones Temple Revival Center and later, Come As You Are Evangelistic Center (CAYA). She departed this  life peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at her home. Vallie’s favorite scriptures were Proverbs 23:7 and Philippians 4:13.


Vallie was educated in the Richmond County Schools system and later attended Sandhills Community College where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Vallie was employed as a production worker at Pinebluff Products and later employed at Audiology of the Sandhills as the office manager.


Vallie’s passion’s included cooking, bible study, being with family and friends and giving Godly counsel to those who needed it. Her favorite TV shows were cooking shows and Westerns.


Vallie was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Morman, her two brothers, Arthur Morman and Bobby Morman, Sr., and her granddaughter, Khaliah Goins. 


Vallie was outgoing and full of life. Those who will forever cherish her fond memories are her husband for over 50 years, Alexander Goins, Jr.; two sons, Alexander Goins III, of Raeford, NC, and  Curtis Goins (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC; her daughter, Karla Goins of Aberdeen, NC; three sisters, Catherine Morman of Southern Pines, NC, Linda Barnette of St. Petersburg, Fl, and Ellen  Graham of Gulfport, Fl; two brothers, Michael Morman and Jimmy Morman, both of Rockingham, NC; her uncle, Leon Wall of Rockingham; her aunt and pastor, Evangelist Lydia Jones of  Pinehurst, NC; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
