Mr. Terrence Matthew Fews, Sr., 48, of Southern Pines, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 20, 2026.  

Terrence Matthew Fews, Sr., was born on October 16, 1977, at Fort Bragg Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Terrence lived a life defined by love, kindness, and dedication to his family  and friends. He was a devoted husband to LaToya Armstrong, a loving father to Naomi, Terrence Jr, JaCorey, Tylaysha, Zamare, and ZayQuan, and a proud grandfather to Isley. His family was the center of his world.

Throughout his life, Terrence worked as a manager at Chase Bank, and in the security office at the Brooklyn Police Academy, as well as a manager at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Terrence also  worked as an electrician for House of Raeford and drove trucks over the road. He later became the director of Bethesda Inc., Men’s Treatment Facility, and earned the respect of colleagues and  friends through his hard work, integrity, and generosity. Outside of work, he found joy in working out, doing electrical work, and shopping, and was happiest when spending quality time with his  family.

Those who knew him, will remember his hardworking spirit, resilience, leadership, and determination. Terrence was known as an entrepreneur at heart, and he was never afraid to pursue his goal.  His way with words and knowledge was unmatched, opening so many doors for him. He had a remarkable ability to create opportunities not only for himself but those around him. Terrence served  as a mentor to many, offering guidance, wisdom, and encouragement, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, LaToya, with whom they shared two children, Zamare Fews and ZayQuan Fews, and a daughter, Zamya Armstrong. Terrence was also the proud father of Naomi Fews, Terrence “TJ” Fews Jr., JaCorey Fews, and Tylaysha Fews. Those also left to cherish fond memories of Terrance are, his mother, Mrs. Rosamae “Patrice” Price; his mother-in-law, Christa  Armstrong; bonus grandmother, Mrs. Mary Armstrong; three sisters, Constance Price, Laurice Price, and India Price; two brothers, Harry Fews and O’Botay Fews; a grandson, Isley Parker; a  brother-in-law, Jarmil Armstrong; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Terrance was preceded in death by grandparents, Matthew and Rosetta Bynum-Foremen, a daughter, Markayla Fews and his stepfather, Mr. Maurice Price.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the love he shared, the memories he gave us, and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
