Baby Tatum Chase Johnson ,of Benson, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday,  June 17, 2025 in Benson, North Carolina.

Tatum Chase Johnson was born on October 4, 2024 to Nicholas Johnson and Aliyah McKoy. Tatum departed his life on June 17, 2025 surrounded by family.

In Tatum's short but beautiful life, he brought boundless joy, laughter and light to everyone he touched. Whether it was a bright smile, or a giggle that could warm hearts. Tatum had a way of making the world better just by being in it. He loved Mickey Mouse and playing with his siblings. Though his time on earth was brief, his impact is eternal.

Tatum is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by: his parents, Nicholas Johnson and Aliyah McKoy; siblings, Kayden, Kameron, Kyler and Naomi Johnson; grandparents, Freta Hargrove and  George T. McKoy, Warren and Linda K. Simmons; great grandparents, Gladys Hargrove and Dr. Linda Bell Smith; aunts, Le'Anesha (Ron) and Tianna; uncles, RI (Alleyah), Zion (Keja) and  Ruldoph (Tammy); godmother, Jazmin; as well as extended family and many friends who cherished him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roderick and Robin Johnson.  

Though we must now live without Tatum's physical presence, his spirit, laughter and love will live forever in our hearts.
