Mrs. Shirley Deloris (Jackson) Piggie, 76, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her residence. 

Shirley Deloris Jackson Piggie age 76, of Sanford, North Carolina, was born on October 17, 1949, to the late Robert Jackson and Juanita Jackson. She entered eternal rest on February 15, 2026.

Shirley was a devoted daughter, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend. She was known for her steady presence, caring spirit, and the way she made those around her feel loved and supported. Shirley held a deep belief in God and trusted His promise, confident that He had a place prepared for her.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories, her son, Rodney Jackson Sr., of Sanford, North Carolina; a sister, Barbara Jean Cobey; her brother, David Jackson, of Sanford; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three nephews; two nieces; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Shirley’s love and faith will continue to live on through all who knew her, and her legacy will be remembered with gratitude and love.
