Ms. Shemeika Shanta Wilson, 44, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her residence in Sanford, North Carolina.

Shemeika Shanta Wilson was birthed into life on October 7, 1978, to the late Annette Wilson Martin and Johnny McNeill.  She departed this life on December 22, 2022.

Shemeika was educated in the Lee County School System.  Her grandmother, Betty Wilson, and two brothers, Marcus Murchison and Bryant Martin, preceded her in death.

Shemeika is survived by her three daughters, Brianica Wilson of Sanford, North Carolina, Nyla and Ariana Wilson of the home; three grandchildren, X’zavion Wilson, Am’unique Clegg, and
Serenity Clegg, all of Sanford; her grandmother, Anita McLean of Sanford; three sisters, Danielle Martin (Al), Anita Esterling, and Ebony Martin (Tony); three brothers, Herman Martin, Jr.,
Brandon Martin, and Travis Martin, all of Sanford; four aunts, Ernestine Wilson, Barbara McLean, Betty Byrd (Gerald), and Rosetta Stedman (Otis) all of Sanford; one special uncle,
Jimmy Wilson of Sanford; one special aunt, Tracy Wilson of Sanford; one special friend, Samuel Harrington; a special cousin, Anthony Wilson (Candace) of Raleigh, North Carolina;
a very special person in her life who was a father figure to her children and grandchildren, Mr. Richard Johnson and family; may God continue to bless you and your family; and a host of
other relatives and friends.
