Ms. Ruby Jeanette Faulk, 66 of Southern Pines, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
Ruby Jeanette Faulk was born on July 3, 1956, to the late Ruth Johnson Bennett and Warren McKinnon. Unfortunately, Lucille and Freddie Faulk did not birth her but gave her life. She made her earthly transition on January 4, 2023, at FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Ruby Jeanette Faulk was preceded in death by her birth parents, Ruth Johnson Bennett and Warren McKinnon, and the parents that raised her, Lucille and Freddie Faulk, sisters Gertha “Cookie” Grace and Pamela Faulk, and brother, Alvis McKinnon.
Ruby Jeanette Faulk, “Ruby Red,” “Grandma Ruby,” “Sweet Ruby,” or “Aunt NaNa,” as some knew her, lived a positive and happy life. Her greatest love was her family and friends. She always reached out to others, uplifting them despite whatever she was going through.
Ruby Faulk leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Katina Faulk; grandchildren, Daquan and Quinden Wyatt; her bonus sons, Chris and Julian Thomas; bonus daughters, Latashia Scott and Diana Davis; a goddaughter, Wiltonia Stroman; siblings, Edward Johnson of Syracuse NY, Wallace McKinnon, Robin McKinnon, and Norma Bernard (Joe) all of Cameron NC and Kelly Womack (Truck) of Broadway NC; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Veronica Faulk, Erica Faulk, Deon Faulk, Revell and Andre Grace; best friends, Marie Johnson, Hattie Richardson Connie McCrimmon and Theresa Ring; and a host of other relatives and friends.
