Mr. Robert McLeod, Jr., 75, of Jackson Springs, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 25, 2025, at First Health Moore Regional, Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Robert was educated in the Moore County Schools and was a devoted provider and man of faith. A faithful member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Jackson Springs, North Carolina, where he worshiped and served the Lord with joy. He began his career in hospitality at the Pinehurst Hotel, where he met the love of his life, Patricia. He later worked at Stanley Furniture and completed his career at Spring Mills, where he retired.
Robert’s life was rich with simple joys: riding his motorcycle on the open road, tending the grill at family gatherings, and—most of all—spending time with his grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He also cherished a special bond with his dear aunt, Clara Boone of Durham, whose love and encouragement meant so much to him. His steadfast love for family and unwavering faith in God remain a lasting testimony to the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
In 1970, Robert married the love of his life, Patricia, and together they built a home rooted in faith, family, and love.
He was the proud father of six children—his beloved son, the late Robert Alexander McLeod, and his five daughters: Wanda of Rockingham, Delora of Jackson Springs, Lisa (Lawrence) of Jacksonville, Tracy of Hamlet, and his baby girl Danielle (Terry) of Eagle Springs. Robert was also a devoted grandfather to 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy and pride.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Henrietta McLeod; his son, Robert Alexander McLeod; his brothers, Raymond and Ronnie McLeod; and his granddaughter, Dominique Darden.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia McLeod; his five daughters, Wanda, Delora, Lisa (Lawrence), Tracy, and Danielle (Terry); his brother, James McLeod (Evelyn) of Carthage, NC; his sister, Henrietta Fields (AKA) Aunt Mutt of Washington, D.C.; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.
