Mr. Ricky Emanuel Johnson, 71, of Seagrove, North Carolina (formerly of Moore County) entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Ricky Emanuel Johnson was born to the late Joseph and Estella Johnson on November 2, 1953. He departed this life on June 6, 2025.

He graduated from North Moore High School in 1972, where he was an exceptional athlete participating in basketball and various other sports. Ricky was a hardworking employee of Randolph Telephone Company, having worked there for more than thirty years. He enjoyed watching sporting events on television and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his late parents, a sister, Linda Chisholm, and a brother, Cleveland Johnson, preceded him in death. 

He leaves to cherish many fond memories, two daughters, Donza Jackson  "Christie" of Sanford, NC and Shanita Johnson of Seagrove, NC; a special friend, Cherria Sahadeo of Seagrove, NC; two bonus daughters, Shannon Maness (Tim) of Seagrove and Shalonte  Napper of Randleman, NC; his grandchildren, A'Laysha Lineberry, Liam Harris, JaQuan Napper, and Ai'Yaona Maness; a brother, Jeffrey Johnson of Seagrove; five sisters, Brenda Johnson (Michael) of Forest Heights, MD, Shelby McKeithan (Lenwood) of Vass, NC, Dometha Powell of Southern Pines,  NC, Camilla Marsh of Southern Pines, and Dequilla Spencer (Lewis) of Robbins, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will miss him.
