Mr. Ray Anthony Monroe, 32, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Ray Anthony Monroe, 32, of Fayetteville, NC, gained his angel wings, November 24, 2021 at Cape Valley Medical Center.
On April 27, 1989, Ray was born in Chapel Hill, to Annette Marie Monroe.
Ray attended Southern Lee High School in Sanford, North Carolina, obtaining his high school diploma. In addition, he attended Mt. Nebo Freewill Baptist Church in his younger years, where he honed his drum playing abilities.
Ray was such a sweet soul and had natural gift of conversion with people and making them feel at home. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had of love for dancing, music, washing cars, playing drums, and many others.
Ray is survived by his mother, Annette Monroe of Sanford, North Carolina; brothers Brandon Monroe of Sanford, North Carolina,and Kelvin (Samantha) Monroe of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters, Shaunteria Monroe of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Dinequa Monroe of Spring Lake, North Carolina, and a special sister, Shaniqua (Dean) Smith of Sanford, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & friends; two special friends he cherished; his mentor, Reverend Gerome Williams (Cynthia) of Sanford, North Carolina and Alex Williams of Sanford, North Carolina.
Arrangements are entrusted to McLeod Funeral Home of Sanford, North Carolina.
