Mr. Rajah Lajuan Simmons, 22, of Korntal-Munchingen, Stuggart Germany (formerly of Durham, North Carolina) entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Rajah Lajuan Simmons, 22, of Durham, NC, passed away in Stuttgart, Germany on October 24, 2024.

Rajah was born on February 12, 2002, to Susan Ann Simmons and Ronald Leroy Bradley, Jr., in Havelock, NC. He attended Gorman Christian Academy and Fellowship Baptist Academy in Durham, NC, Blair Middle School in Norfolk, VA, and graduated from Landstown High School in Virginia Beach, VA.

Rajah’s first job was working at Wendy’s in Virginia Beach while attending high school. After graduating, he moved to Puerto Rico with his mother and younger brother. Returning to Durham, he worked at Early Bird Donuts, Harris Teeter, Autorific Car Wash, and Dollar before joining his mother and younger brother in Stuttgart, Germany. While living in Stuttgart, he attended college and worked at the Panzer Main Exchange.

Rajah leaves his memories to be cherished by his mother, Susan Simmons; three brothers, Brandon Simmons-Porter of Chesapeake, VA, Jesan Simmons-Cavazos (Sarah) of Durham, NC, and Zamir Simmons of Stuttgart, Germany; one sister, Sakina Simmons-Cavazos of Raleigh, NC; two nieces, Cosima Simmons-Cavazos of Durham, NC, and Alina Cavazos-Ryder of Raleigh, NC; three uncles, Lamar Simmons of Southern Pines, NC; Matthew Simmons of Pinebluff, NC, and Maurice Simmons of Baltimore, MD; and a host of cousins, grand uncles, grand aunts, and friends.

Rajah was preceded in death by his grandparents, Silas and Albertha Simmons and Ronald Bradley, Sr. Waiting for him at the door to heaven was his uncle Rodney Simmons.
