Mrs. Mildred Eloise (Russell) Davis, 95, of Aberdeen (Jackson Hamlet Community), North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 20, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina. 

Mildred Eloise Russell Davis was a special angel born to the late Florence and Shelton Russell on April 21, 1929, in Moore County, North Carolina. She departed this life on January 20, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

She was married to the late Edmond Davis, to this union, ten children were born.

For many years, Mother Davis was a dedicated and faithful member of Love Grove FWB Church in the JacksonHamlet Community of Aberdeen, North Carolina. She never met a stranger and loved every child she met. She definitely had love for everyone she met. Her jobs reflected her spiritual life and love for her fellow mankind, cooking, feeding the hungry, and as a dedicated healthcare provider.

Mother Davis was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara, two sons, Robert “Skull,” and Carl, and one grandson, Tyrone.

Those left to cherish fond memories of Mother Mildred are, her children, James of New York, New York, Cornelia “Connie” of Cornelius, and Margaret “Rachel,” both of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Michael (Richard), Patricia (Pat) and Diane, all of Southern Pines, North Carolina; one stepson, Edward Leon Ingram of Marion, South Carolina; one daughter-in-law, Sandra; one adopted son, Lorenzo Blackmon; twenty-five grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends
