Mrs. Margaret Ann (Allen) Lee, 66, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, North Carolina. 

Margaret Ann Lee, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on July 7, 1959, to the late Nillie McCormick and Herman Allen. Margaret was called to rest on December 13, 2025, in Sanford, NC.

Margaret attended Benhaven High School. She had a loving heart, her doors were always open, and she loved having her family around.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James D. Lee; five brothers, Thurman Allen, Theadus Allen, Derby Allen, William McCormick, and Willie Allen; a sister, Nillie Ruth  Douglas; two daughters, Malicia Allen and Jennifer Allen; and one granddaughter, Jamaica Allen.

Those left to cherish fond memories of Margaret, are, a brother, Larry Allen (Lucille) of Sanford; two sisters, Aretha Millage of Fayetteville NC, and Alveta Corbett of Virginia; one son, Danny  Campbell (Venus) of Spring Lake NC; three daughters, Tonya Lee, Belinda Brown, and Pamela Lee all of Sanford; twenty grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; special nieces, Sonya Eaton and Silvia Gamble; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Margaret will forever be in our hearts. Through her family, her legacy lives.
