Lula Bell Harrington Williams

Mrs. Lula Bell Harrington Williams was born on September 23, 1938 to June and Mary Alice Hooker Harrington in Cameron, NC. She departed this life on January 24, 2020 at Manhattanville Nursing Facility in Bronx, New York.

She was educated in the Moore County school system. She attended Pinckney High School. She was a regular supporter of the school reunions until her health began to fail. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cameron, NC until she moved to New York. While in New York she became a Registered Nurse. She retired in 1999.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her sisters, Blanche Harrington and Elsie Bethune McLean, and her brothers, Everette C. Harrington and Kenneth Kelly.

She leaves to celebrate her life; one son, Dumont Shell Harrington of Bronx, New York ; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special cousin, Annie Lou Frye.

She will be memorialized at a later date.
