Ms. Linda Carol Cox, 77, of Washington, DC (formerly of Lee County, North Carolina) entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Daughter of the late John Owen and Clara Lee (Davis) Cox departed this life on July 31, 2025.

Linda was the oldest of 3 children. She was the graduate of Johnsonville School class of 1966. Following high-school she attended Shaw university. Upon graduating Linda moved to Washington,  DC. She was employed for several decades at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission.

She leaves to cherish her memories two brothers John N. Cox and Terry Cox. Two sisters in law Lessie Cox and Carolyn Cox. Two Nephews Brent Cox (Keysha) and Ashley Cox (Ashley). Three Nieces Natasha Linnen (Joey), Jessica Cox, and Audrey Cox. 

One Aunt Lucille D. Hayden and a host of relatives and friends.
