Mr. Lee Vander Spencer, Sr., 88, of Eagle Springs, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 10, 2024 at his residence. 

Lee Vander Spencer was born to the late Alonzo and Mary Spencer on July 3, 1935. He departed this life on June 10, 2024, at his home.

He was married to Fannie Ann Spencer, who preceded him in death.

He was a well-known carpenter, and his work can be seen throughout Moore County and the Zion Grove community. He retired from Causey Realty. He was also a member of Zion Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, where he previously served as a trustee.

He leaves to cherish his memory six children, Clara McNeill, Cynthia Mitchell, Lee Spencer, Jr. (Teresa), Sherry McLean, Terrie McNeill (Edward), and Joseph E. Spencer; fourteen grandchildren;  twenty-seven great grandchildren; twelve great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a very special family, the Causey Family.
