Mrs. Latisha D. Smith-Battle, 43, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Latisha Diane Smith-Battle was born to Harry Lee Smith Jr. (Teresa) and Diane Farrar Smith (Clayton) on January 15, 1981, in Orange County, NC. She departed this life on December 14, 2024.

Latisha received her associate’s degree from Central Carolina Community College in 2002. She worked at State Employees’ Credit Union for 21 years and was a faithful member of Tempting Congregational Church in Sanford, NC.  

“Tish,” as she was known by many, loved her family and friends.  She also enjoyed cooking, cheering on the Tar Heels, and supporting her daughter’s ball games.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories, her husband, Bobby Battle Jr.; two daughters, Da’sha Battle and Kai Battle; her fur baby, Banks Battle; brothers, Tyrone Smith (Latanya) and Aundrell Smith; her mother-in-law, Belinda Battle; her father-in-law, Bobby Battle Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Jessica Battle and Melissa Battle; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives,
