Mrs. Katherine Yvonne Verbal, 58, of Aberdeen, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.  

On April 10, 2025, Katherine Yvonne Verbal departed this life at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Katherine was born on February 2, 1967, in Moore County, NC, to Theresea Kelly Verbal and the late James Make Verbal. However, she was raised most of her life in Hempstead, New York. She was preceded in death by her son, Willie Franklin Pearson Jr., and her brother, James Edward Verbal. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Willie Lee Fairley; her son, Maurice Hartgrove; her daughter, Theresea Pearson; her mother, Theresea Kelly Utley; her sisters, Sharon Green (Charles), Clarissa Nealy( Rick) and Jane McAllister; two sisters-in-law, Katie Hope and Berlean Patterson (Carl); a brotherin-law, Levon Fairley; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
