Mr. Joseph Allen Sanders, Sr., 70, of Cameron, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC.
Mr. Joseph Allen Sanders, Sr. completed his earthly journey on August 5, 2022 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. Joseph joins in glory his parents Willie Syrene Boney Sanders and Jasper Sanders; brother Perry "Jackie" Sanders; and sister, Judy B. Frederick.
He as born in Wake County, NC, on October 16, 1951. He was a faithful member of the Johnsonville AME Zion Church and was an original member of the Johnsonville Male Chorus. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, fishing and spending time with family. Joseph always found joy in feeding the community. He was a hard working man, offering words of encouragement with a word from the Lord to lift your spirit.
He leaves to cherish his lovely wife, Mable D. Sanders; three daughters, Letticia Palmer of Raleigh, NC, Tonyetta Thomas of Elgin, SC, and Angela Cameron of Sanford, NC; two sons, Allen Waddell of Sanford, NC, and Joseph Sanders, Jr. (Arlisa) of Creedmoor, NC; two sisters, Willie Ann Seda of New York, and Annie S. Johns (Roosevelt) of Sanford, NC; two brothers, Laxie Sanders of Sanford, NC, and Emmanuel Sanders of Ohio; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; nine grandchildren, three great-grand-children, host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
