Mr. Johnny Antonio Wilson, 44, of Southern Pines, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.   

Johnny Antonio Wilson was born on September 6, 1981. He departed this life on January 11, 2026.

If you met Johnny, you didn’t forget him. He had an infectious spirit, and he loved people. He was a cook by trade, and he loved his job, never meeting any strangers. He was an avid Philadelphia  Eagles fan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his brothers, Fabian Wilson and Lonnie Hines.

Those left to cherish fond memories of Johnny are, his mother, Iris Dickerson (Anthony) of Southern Pines, North Carolina; his father, Johnny Hines (Thomasina) of Southern Pines; his siblings,  Tamara Wilson (David) of Vass, North Carolina, Ronnie and Whitney Hines, both of Aberdeen, North Carolina, and Felicia Chambers of Florida; his fiancée, Jessica Rose; his children, Keosha,  Jocelyn, Janessa and Kayla Wilson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends.
