Mr. Jeannie Roesee Williams Jr., 68, of Sanford entered into eternal rest on Saturday,  November 16, 2024 at Westfield Rehabilitation and Health Center in Sanford, North Carolina.

Jeannie Roesee Williams Jr., affectionately known as "Popcorn" and "Pop," passed away at the age of 68.  Born on August 3, 1956, in Richmond, Virginia, Jeannie was a man whose strength within his love for family was immeasurable.  A highly skilled brick mason, he dedicated over 40 years of his life to serving communities across North Carolina and Virginia, leaving a lasting legacy through his craftsmanship and dedication.

Jeannie was preceded in death by his father, Jeannie Roesee Williams Sr. of Sanford, North Carolina; his mother Ella Marie Allen of Richmond, Virginia; his brothers Anthony Williams, Manolo Hill; and his sister Diane Allen.

He is survived by his loving daughters, who brought immense joy and pride to his life:  Charoneeka (Sunshine) Forbes (Steven) of Manassas, Virginia; Raineishia (Rainey) Evans (Michael) of Garner, North Carolina; and Charmaine (Angel) Batts (Josh) of Charlotte, North Carolina. Jeannie was also the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren: Samaia, Dhevon, Cayden, Reyna, Cameron, Michael, Caleb, Joziah, and Jalyn. Additionally, he leaves behind his sister, Estraleta Brown (Dennis) of Sanford, North Carolina, and Rachel Williams of Sanford, North Carolina; special nephews Rameko Currie, Joel Currie, and Maurice Johnson; and a large, cherished family of nieces, nephews, cousins and best friend, Stephen Garner.

Jeannie will be remembered for his contagious laughter, love for family, and the impact he left on all who knew him.  His legacy lives on through the love of his family and the strength of the relationships he built throughout his life.
