Mrs. Janie Anita (Mitchell) Tabon, 60, of Sanford, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her place of residence.
Janie Anita Mitchell Tabon was born at CCH Hospital to Barbara Ann Mitchell Bush Bridges on November 10, 1961. On February 1, 2022 She was called home to rest.
Janie graduated from Lee County Senior High School in Sanford, North Carolina in 1979. She was a member of True Gospel in Sanford, NC were she directed her choir The Children of God. She loved teaching and working with the kids during Childrens Church and Vacation Bible school. She loved doing crafts, beach vacations, listening to music but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchldren.
Janie is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Jermaine Tabon, her parents, Curtis and Barbara Bridges, and Lewis Staton, Two brothers; Kenneth Mitchell, Curtis Tyrell Bridges, Grandparents Wylie Mitchell, Estelle Bush, Linzie Bush Taylor, Millie Bridges, James and Ozie Staton.
Janie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of years, Kenneth Ray Tabon; Two daughters, Kendra Tabon and Deovion Bridges; Three sons; D’Erick Bridges(Shervell), D’Kerrius Bridges, Jonathan “Wu” Bridges; Also Tommy Williams, Brittney Bridges, Quinterious Ragland, Ron Suarez whom she help raise and considered own children; grandchildren, Zaevein Times, Nasir Tabon, Jamah Bridges, Cordarius Goldston, Sha’Kira Quick, Nadia and Noah Mangum; Three brothers Gregory Staton, Timothy Staton and Sterling Staton, Four sisters; Brenda Lemon and Shaunda Fox of Sanford, NC, Tamika Bridges of Goldsboro, NC, and Pamela Staton; her aunts Linda Richey (Brodus) of Clinton, MD, Robin McLeod and Linda Horton both of Sanford, NC; three uncles, Ricki Taylor (Pat) of Camp Springs, MD, Charles McLeod (Eugenia) of Raleigh, NC and Robert Reives (Ruth) of Sanford, NC; One brother-in-law, Rickie Tabon; Sister-in-law, Jackie West, Jean Matthews and Venus Allen all of Sanford, NC and Shirley Mitchell of Lillington, NC; Stepmother; Evelyn Staton; Special family, Ayden Bridges(nephew), Keyshaun and Avri Bridges(Great nephews), Zonoah Lawrence and Keyanna Tabon(nieces) and Estelle Bush; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
