Mr. James Lee Redwine, 74, of Broadway, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 4, 2021.
James Lee Redwine was born to the late Ciscero and Ida Mae Pearson Redwine on December 02, 1946. He was called to eternal rest on October 04, 2021.
James Lee attended and graduated from Johnsonville High School in the year of 1966. "Go Eagle Pride"
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Delois Harrington, and from this union, they had two children, Lois Veronica and Melissa Renee' Redwine, which preceded him in death.
In James' early years after graduation, he worked many years at Federal Spinning as a yarn Doffer and Lead Person. He later attended barber college and became a Licensed Barber. He served many customers in and out of the community. He always ensured the elderly men in the community were shaved, and their hair was cut after they became sick and shut in.
He was a lifetime member of Union Grove United Methodist Church, in Broadway, North Carolina.
James Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Ciscero and Ida Mae Pearson Redwine, brothers, Herman and Elmer Redwine, and his sister, Viola Temper.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Delois Harrington Redwine; two daughter, Jacinta Moore of Atlanta, Georgia and Jasmine Pearson of Chatham County; brothers, Earl Lenzy Redwine (Tracy) of Sanford, North Carolina and Leroy Redwine of Broadway, North Carolina; sisters, Aretha Thomas (James) of Hampton, Virginia and Irene Lee (Walker) of Sanford, North Carolina; a granddaughter, Daisha Shontia Matthews (Shanava) in which he took a great part in helping rear.
James Lee also leaves to cherish his memories two special great-grandsons, Ma'Kaidyn Redwine and Dedrick Lipscomb, which affectionately called him "PaPa"; other grandchildren, Jamaica Moore, Ja'Nae Pearson, Zyler Williams, Kaleb McNeill, and Don'Yaha Matthews; six brothers-in-law; nine sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family members and friends.
