Inell (Neal) Tucker

Mrs. Inell Tucker, 83, of 554 Beulah Brown Road, Sanford, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation, Sanford, North Carolina.

Mrs. Inell Neal Tucker, 83, was born on December 27, 1936, in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Tommy and Lula Mae Neal. The Lord sent an angel to bring Inell home on December 5, 2020.

Inell attended school in the Glasscock County public school system and was a member of Sandy Grove Baptist Church in Georgia before moving to North Carolina. Inell married the love of her life, Jessie in 1951. Through this union, five children were born. They relocated to Sanford, North Carolina in 1956. Later on in life, she became a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Inell was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie; her parents; a daughter, Nettie Mae Tucker; a son, Tommy Tucker; her brothers, Bennie and Oliver Neal; a sister, Mrytice Jones; a grandson, Randy Kinney; and a great-grandson, Randy Kinney, Jr.

Inell loved working in food services and fishing. She worked at Barbecue Lodge for many years and was known for her famous banana pudding. Inell loved to go fishing with her granddaughter April, and they would fish until dusk dark.

Inell leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter Ella Cole; two sons, Frankie Tucker (Jana) and Jessie Will Tucker, both of Sanford, North Carolina; one brother, David Neal of Sanford, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae Nelson, Willie Lou Neal, Eve Lou Mills, and Willie Mae Lawrence, all of Georgia; one brother-in-law, Willie Edwards Tucker of Georgia; twelve grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
