Obituary
Mr. Gray Melvin Sloan, 61, of Aberdeen, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 21, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. Gray Melvin Sloan was born on April 15, 1962, in Moore County, North Carolina to the late George Frye and Reather Goins Sloan. He departed this life on July 21, 2023.
Melvin graduated from Pinecrest High School in 1980. He had a giving heart. He loved tennis and listening to music. He enjoyed sports and watching them on tv.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce McPhatter.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his sister, Shawmaine Barrett (Robert) of West End, North Carolina; three nieces, Latoya McPhatter, Brittany Burton, and Anita Hamilton; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
