Mrs. Gloria Medlin McCrimmon, 72, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in Vass, North Carolina.
Gloria Jean McCrimmon, daughter of the late Bernice Medlin and Eunice Durant Medlin, was born on May 28, 1951, in Moore County, North Carolina. She departed this life on June 7, 2023, in Vass, North Carolina.
Gloria grew up in Southern Pines and stayed there her entire life. She worked at Proctor Silex for twenty years and at JCPenney as a hairstylist. She was an all-around good woman to everyone that ever knew her. She also was a well-known member and cook at Trinity AME Zion.
Gloria was loved by many and will be dearly missed by her sister and brother, Mable Sloan (Charles) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Bernice Medlin, Jr. of Boston, Massachusetts; her sons, Sylvester McCrimmon and Daquan McCrimmon; one nephew, Daunte; her granddaughter, Jamiah McKayhan; her great-grandchildren, Zarriyah, A’Nariyah, and My’Aisa; three nieces, Adreal, Brianna and Nadine; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
