Frederick Jerod Wimbley

Mr. Frederick Jerod Wimbley, 43, of 272 Offset Farm Road, Sanford, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Rod was a vibrant soul who loved fiercely!  He enjoyed many things, but especially fashion – he could light up a room with his presence. 

His purpose in life was to support his family and make sure they were “good”.  He was the kind of person who would go hard for his family, especially his mom.  All he wanted was the best for everyone in his life and that all would live up to their higher self.  He was deeply touched by the powerful love he felt for his family and friends.  He wanted nothing more than to “have everyone’s back”. 

Rod was an explorer on the spiritual path and was especially drawn to and influenced by the Moorish beliefs. 

He leaves behind daughter whom he loved with all his being.  He tried his best to provide the fatherly wisdom that she needed to become the young lady she is today. 

He is also survived by a loving mother, father, stepfather, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and many, many friends.
