Franzy Deshanon Wilson Obituary

Mr. Franzy Wilson, 58, of Southern Pines, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 16, 2024, at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in West End, North Carolina.   


Franzy Wilson was born on July 1, 1966, to the late Ellen Hainesworth. He was one of three children. He passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, in Pinehurst, North Carolina.


Franzy was a United States Navy Veteran. He served his country proudly. Franzy enjoyed spending time with his family, working out, and watching sports, especially football. He was an avid  cyclist and runner. He was so proud of his three sons and grandchildren. He was a quiet man who loved his family unconditionally. He knew the LORD Jesus Christ and knew HE was his Savior.  Franzy will forever be remembered for his gentleness, perseverance, and love for others.


Franzy leaves to cherish his memory three sons: Corey Rashad Ingram, Dayshun Thompson and Zaythan Hill, all of Southern Pines, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren; two sisters: Rachel  Wilson (John) of Glen Burnie, MD, and Traci Thompson (Burnell) of Baton Rouge, LA; a niece, Megan Casher (Aaron) of Watson, LA; a nephew, Burnell Thompson IV of Baton Rouge, LA; and a  host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
