Mrs. Felicia Core Miller, 77, of Pinebluff, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Felicia Core Miller was born on February 12, 1947, in Addor, North Carolina to the late Flora Jane and Carl Clinton Core Jr. Eldress Felicia Core Miller transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, November 10, 2024, peacefully at her home.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Williams and sister, Claretha C. Horton (James).

Felicia was raised in Addor, North Carolina graduating from Berkley High School. She worked at Stanley Furniture for many years, Century Curtains as a seamstress and as a caretaker with Diligent Care Inc. She was an amazing florist, personally trained by Ms. Faison and attended Professional Career Development Institute receiving her certification on October 22, 2002, with a cumulative grade of 96. She was the owner of Felicia’s Florist in Southern Pines, NC having the privilege of serving Michael Jordan with her flower arrangements. She was known through the community for her beautiful wedding and funeral arrangements.

She had a great love for God. Serving in ministry at Elizabeth Chapel Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Carl Core. She served as the president of the usher board and the church financial secretary. Continuing her love for the Word of God she attended the Native American Bible College in Shannon, NC. She then received her credentials and was ordained on November 8, 2009, as an eldress for United American Freewill Baptist Denomination. Prior to her health declining she was an avid reader; loved working puzzles and eating out.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Robert Williams, Jr. of Addor, NC; Phillip Williams (Tawanna) of Troy, NC; Victor Williams of Addor, NC; Carlos Williams of Addor NC; Sharod Griggs of Newark, NJ. Siblings– Shirley McMillan (Herbert) of Addor, NC; Reverend Carl Core of Addor, NC; Christopher Core of Addor, NC; Robert Core of Rockford, IL; Paul Core (Joyce) of Addor, NC; John Core of Addor, NC; Velma Gibson of Addor, NC.; grandchildren-Stephone Covington Sr., Tisha Houston, Rashad Covington, Sarah Grace Williams, Jonathan Williams; great-grandchildren-Brianna Plummer, Ian Stephens, Stephane Covington, Ashton Covington as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
