Eva Ann (Capel) Brower

Mrs. Eva Ann Brower, 59, of Spring Lake, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Eva Ann Brower of 66 Sue Street, Spring lake, North Carolina received her angel wings on August 11, 2023 while surrounded at home with family and friends.

On 2/18/64 Eva was born in Rockingham, North Carolina in Richmond County to Eva Lessie and John Capel.

Eva grew up a member of St Luke Church in Ellerbe, NC.  Eva attended Richmond County High School. Where she met her husband Bobby Franklin Baldwin. She enjoyed knitting, movies, music, and quality time with family.

In 1982, Eva had her first born child Torrell Jerome Capel. Eva married Bobby Franklin Baldwin at the age of 18 in South Carolina. In 1984, Eva had her second child Frankie Capel . Eva and
Bobby moved from Ellerbe, North Carolina, in 1987, to Rockingham North Carolina where she worked in the textile industry. Later they moved to Spring Lake, North Carolina in 1998; where
she has resided for the past 20 years. While living in Spring Lake, North Carolina Eva applied her culinary skills as a cook.

In 2016, Eva participated in The Feed The Homeless Project organized and sponsored by her son Torrell and his wife Viola Capel in Fayetteville N.C.  Eva captivated the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. Eva was an angel that walked amongst us with a heart of gold that showed the goodness in everything. Eva believed in helping others. She would give her last to make someone else happy. Eva was devoted to her family; Eva’s bond with her sons are unbreakable. Eva doted on her beloved husband and thought the world of her grandbabies.

Eva was preceded in death by her mom, Eva Lessie Capel; dad, John Capel; sister, Frances Dixion; sister, Barbara (Danny) Smith; sister, Betty Jean Capel; brother, Cornell Capel; and brother,
John Capel Jr.

Eva is survived by husband, Frank Baldwin; two sons, Torrell Jerome (Viola) Capel and Frankie (Theodosia) Capel; one brother, June Capel; brother-in-law Scott (Vicki) Baldwin; sister- in-law Linda Thomas, sister- in-law Brenda (Tony) McSween, sister- in-law Cynthia ( Jerry) Moore ; brother-in-law Lorenzo (Eica) Brower, sister- in-law Loretta Covington,sister- in-law Angela (Darren) Corpas, and brother-in-law Anthony Brower.  Grandchildren, Torrell Capel Jr, Eric Williams, Kiara Sharp , Kimariya Capel, Kiyahnna Capel, Frankie Capelz Jr, Myshala Liddick, Tiauna Capel, Mya Mcneil, nieces, Thamika Capel, Frances Smith; a nephew Danny Smith Jr ; and a host of many more nieces and nephews, cousins, and her beloved dogs.
