Mr. Edmond Deberry Jr, 76, of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 3HC Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Edmond was born on July 14, 1949 in Gibson, NC to the late Edmond Deberry, Sr. and Roberta Henderson Deberry Ocheltree. He was preceded in death by five Sisters; Gertrude Alford, Mary Ann Bernard, Rosa Lee Lloyd, Fannie Lee Reed and Hattie Lee McNeill and one Brother; Norman Deberry.

Edmond was a dedicated man of multiple skills such as home improvements, mechanic, and landscaping and he loved all of them. He was educated in the Harnett County Public School System.

He was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. He sang with the Male Chorus, and his favorite gospel group was the Mighty Clouds of Joy. Lately, he relocated to NC and because a faithful servant in the WB2C Outreach Ministry in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Edmond leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 54 years, Lessie Mae Deberry, whom he loved and cherished dearly. One Daughter Ikeshia Clegg, Sanford, NC and  Daughter/Niece Jlyn Lee, Goldsboro, NC. His siblings; Sister; Lucy Merritt (Bob), Garner, NC and brother Larry Ocheltree (Katrina) Sanford, NC. Sister-in-law Quinae Lee of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Brother-in-laws Ervin Lee (Barbara Parham), Roanoke Rapids, Harold Murphy (Debra)mof Fuquay, NC., 5 Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends.
