Donald Stover

Mr. Donald Stover, 68, of 160 J. Burns Road, Vass, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 5, 2021 at his residence. 

Donald Stover was born on April 5, 1952 to Bridget Elliott Stover and the late Laddie James Stover.

Donald attended Union Pines High School. He enjoyed doing yard work and worked many years in landscaping in and around Moore County. He played the drums and was in a band for many years.

Donald married Gloria McLeod, and out of this union, three children were born.

Preceding him in death was his father, Laddie James Stover, his granddaughter Janiya Wall, and his grandson Isaiah McLeod.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Michelle McLeod; twin sons, Donathon Stover (Whitney) and Jonathon Stover; his stepson, Lamont McLeod; his mother, Bridget Elliott Stover Jenkins; three sisters, Deborah DeBerry, Linda Stover, and Patricia Barber (Charlie); his stepbrother, Bobbie Upchurch; eleven grandchildren, Melique, Darian, Kenyon, Treviaun, Kevaun, Jameeah, Jamanda, Jamel, Monica, Tyreak, and Miya; two great-grandchildren, Aiyanna and Jamel Jr.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to McLeod Funeral Home of Sanford, North Carolina.

Due to COVID-19 the family will NOT be receiving visitors at the home.

McLeod Funeral Home believes in putting your safety first. For the safety of you and those around you, masks are required before entering the building.

Also, the capacity is limited due to the requirement of social distancing; no seating permitted during the walk-through viewing.
