Mr. Dimetry Lawrence Blue, 39, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in Sanford, North Carolina. 

Dimetry Lawrence Blue, the beloved son of Jeanna Bell and Ernest Smith of Sanford, NC, was born on February 8, 1985, in Orange County, NC. Dimetry departed this earthly life at home on  Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Dimetry was educated in Lee County and was a graduate of Lee County High School, class of 2006.

Dimetry’s life was a testament to the power of positive influence. As a loving father, son, brother, and uncle, he left an indelible mark on those around him. His actions and words were a source of  inspiration, and his love for his children and family was a guiding light in their lives.

The loss of Dimetry is deeply felt by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle, James C. Johnson, his great-grandmother, Mattie Louise Dukes, his great-grandfather, Neil  Archie Blue, his grandfather, James W. Rogers and his grandmother, Shirley Miles Rogers. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Dimetry leaves to cherish precious memories, his parents, Jeanna Bell (Billy Davis) and Ernest Smith (Lynette) of Sanford, NC; his one and only child, Kaleb Blue of Sanford; his grandfather,  Jimmy Johnson (Mary) of Sanford; his grandmother, Dorothy Wicker of Sanford; siblings, Dominique Everson, Francine Chambers (Charles), Johnthan Bell, Jr. (Lakaya), Rashard Weatherly,  Scott Harrington, and Brian Gray (Katie) all of Sanford, Alicia Blue-Rome of O’Calla, FL, and Jason Pelleties (Kaitlyn) of Whitesville, NC; three additional children that he raised, Miriam, Zipporrah,
and Keturah; seven grandchildren; special friends, Crystal Fling, Crystal Atkins, Tara, Laquanda Jiggetts and Jayden Crutchfield; fifteen nephews; five nieces; aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
