Mr. Dennis L. Richmond, 63, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Sanford, North Carolina.

Mr. Dennis L. Richmond was the son of the late Harold Richmond and the late Jessie Chesney Snipes. Dennis was born on October 24, 1958, in Sanford, NC. He departed this life on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at his home in Sanford, NC. Dennis was married to his loving wife, Evelyn Williams Richmond, for 34 years.

Dennis loved his family dearly until the lord called him to his heavenly home. He attended Sanford Central High in Sanford, NC, until the eleventh grade. He always enjoyed hunting, fishing,
playing with the grandchildren, cooking, laughing, working on cars, or even just staying busy outside in the garden. Dennis was always a hard worker and didn’t mind helping anyone if he could,
or even if he couldn’t help, he would always somehow find a way.

Dennis loved spending time with family and longtime friends in his spare time, whether preparing for cookouts, lifting weights, and social events. He loved to joke around, give advice, and have fun. Even during his illness, he was a loving husband and father and he loved life itself. He gave his life to the lord in the 1980s. Later he became a member of the House of Refuge in Sanford, NC. He served and worshipped the Lord faithfully until the Lord called him home.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Snipes & Harold Richmond and his brother Ray D. Snipes. 

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Regina Richmond of Sanford, NC, Jessica Richmond Williams (Tyrone) of Spring Lake, NC, Dennesha Richmond and Dennis Richmond Jr., both
of Sanford, NC; his grandchildren, Patrick Foushee Jr. (Courtney), Alexus Richmond, and Destiny Foushee, all of Sanford, NC, Xiani Richmond and Orlando Richmond both of Spring Lake, NC,
Tavion Mitchell & Davion Mitchell both of Sanford, NC; one great granddaughter, Roslyn Foushee of Sanford, NC; his siblings, Cettina Richmond of Fayetteville, NC, Ricky Womble (Myrtle) of
Sanford, NC, Helen Patterson, Roger Malloy & Ruby Flowers of New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
