Darius Tremayne Barrett

Darius Tremayne Barrett, aka "Big D", was born on November 9, 1977 to Roberta Barrett and Barry Rollins.

Darius attended Lee County High School and graduated class of 1996. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. Darius loved to sing, and he had the voice of an angel. He also loved to cook and was employed as a cook for many years. Darius was also a beloved Redskins fan. He was a great father, and he loved spending time with his children.

Darius was preceded in death by his grandparents Louis and Alberta Person (maternal), and his grandmother Eula Rollins (paternal).

Darius leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother Roberta Barrett,  father Barry Rollins both of Sanford, NC; his bonus father David Ayers of Fayetteville, NC; his children Darius Barrett Jr.(Tasha), Jordyn Barrett (Robin), Darren Brice Barrett (Tomesha), Ayden Barrett (Mia) and Mason Barrett (Shakita) all of Sanford, NC; his two sisters Missy Barrett (Pearl) and Sondra McDougald of Sanford, NC; four brothers Keith Barrett (LaKeisha), Brian McNeill, Barry Rollins, and Rashawn Ayers all of Sanford, NC; his uncles Darryl Barrett (Daisy), Sylvester Barrett, Wayne Barrett (Trisha), and Roger Rollins all of Sanford, NC; his aunts Gracie Palmer, Clara Murchison of Fayetteville, NC, Ronnie McLean, and Janett Rollins-Bassett of Sacramento, CA; his special friends Daryl Champney, Allen Waddell "Cal", Jonah Jones, Aaron Cotton "Sap", Oscar Petty "OJ", Daniel McNeill, Carlos Marks "Los", Clint Watson, Ralph Reed, Steven Waddell "Primis", Tiffany Bland, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones during the week at the home of Keith and LaKeisha Barrett located at 1051 Minter School Road Sanford, NC 27332.
