Mr. D'Kerrius "Kerri" Nasir Bridges, 21, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 28, 2025. 


D’Kerrius Nasir Bridges, 21, of Sanford, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, North Carolina.


D’Kerrius, also affectionately known as “Kerri,” was born at Central Carolina Hospital to Tamika Bridges Davis and Sidney Diggs III on March 24, 2004. 


Kerri was a graduate of Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina. He loved his family wholeheartedly; he would have done anything for them. He also had a passion for  music. Everyone loved Kerri, and he will be greatly missed.


Kerri was preceded in death by his brother Jermaine “Maine” Tabon, his mother who raised him, Anita Tabon, his grandparents, Curtis and Barbara Bridges, Sidney Diggs Jr., his great  grandparents, Curtis Bridges Sr., Linsey Bush Taylor, Robert Earl McLeod, Harry Joe McIver Sr., Bessie Gray, Sidney Diggs Sr., and Millie Dockery Bridges and two uncles, Kenneth Mitchell, Curtis Tyrell Bridges, and his great uncle Thomas “Skip” Calhoun.


He leaves to cherish many memories, his mother, Tamika Bridges Davis (Charles); his fathers, Sidney Diggs III, and Kenneth Tabon; one daughter whom he loved dearly O’Cean Nowell; two  brothers, D’Erick Bridges (Shervell) and Hassan Diggs; three sisters, Deovion Bridges (Jose), Imani Diggs and Kendra Tabon; five nephews, Nasir Tabon, Zaevein Times, Cordarius Goldston,  Jamah Bridges and Noah Mangum; four nieces Journey “Chunk” Alvarez, Perla Tabon, Nadia Mangum, and Shakira Quick; his grandmother, Frances McIver; great-grandmother, Annie Lanier McIver; a special great, great aunt, Sylvia Lanier; his uncles, DaVon Reynolds and Tony Noble; his aunts LaTasha Wilson (Thomas), Kim Jones, Nicole Ortega, Shirley Mitchell, Shaunda  Fox and Brenda Lemons; his great uncles and great aunts, Harry Joe McIver (Leslie), Alvin McDougald (Patsy), Annette Gray, and Regina Gray; close family, Keyanna Tabon, Sha’Niah Harris,  Zonoah Lawrence, Keyshuan Bridges, Genesis Bridges, Ron Suarez, Steven Clampitt, Ursula Mitchell, Mariah Mitchell, Lakita Mangum, Miyoshi Thomas, Shenya Mitchell, Taniko Hubbard Jr.,  Xzavion Fox, Erica Lawrence, Shervell Hasty, Maggie Reyes, Malachi McLean, Quinterious Ragland and Deezy McKendall.
