Mr. Curtis Hart, 64, of 151 Boys Camp Road, Cameron, NC, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at First Health Hospice & Palliative Care in West End, NC.

Curtis Hart made his natural transition on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Curtis was born to the late Mary Lee Brown and John Mickens on August 12, 1955.
Brother Curtis Hart grew up in South Carolina. He decided to take wings and join the United States Army (1973-1975). After leaving the military, he found that he enjoyed working on HVAC systems. Curtis received his Associate Degree from Midland Tech, becoming certified to work on HVAC systems. He continued to do so until his health failed.
"Listen, I tell you a mystery; We will not sleep, but we will be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15"51-52."
Brother Hart is survived by, his loving and devoted wife, Priscilla Hart of the home; one daughter, Katrice Heard of Southern Pines, North Carolina; one son, Andre McLeod of Vass, North Carolina; two brothers, Terry Mickens (Denise) and Kelton Washington (Cornella); two sisters, Rozalyn Renee Lucas and Coretta Washington; seven aunts, Elsie Sumpter, Charlotte Ducan, Dorothy Hart, Susie Hickman, Mary Ivory (Bobby), Annie Mae and Ella Mae Carter; two uncles, Wardell Mickens (Janie Mae) and Robert Mickens; grandchildren, Nicole, Curtis, Jai'Sean, Andrea, Andre and Adriana (Boo Boo); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives; and special recognition cousins, Ann Minor, Wendell Walker, and Paul Minor.
Arrangements are entrusted to McLeod Funeral Home of Sanford, NC.
