She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and cherished every moment shared with family.
Claretta was preceded in death by her parents, John McCrimmon and Laura Jane McCrimmon; her siblings, Lacy Jones, Alice Elliott, JC McCrimmon, and Odell McCrimmon; and was the last surviving sibling of her family.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted and beloved son, Carty Jay McCrimmon, and his wife, Sabrina McCrimmon; her beloved grandchildren, Dasia McCrimmon, J’Aunna McCrimmon, Kaitlyn McCrimmon, and Sabravion Southerland; her cherished nieces; great-nieces; great-nephews; her lifelong friend, Lillie Jones Colvin; Pauline Davis and Lakisha Alford, who lovingly cared for Claretta during her time in the nursing home; and a host of extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by her kindness and unwavering faith.
