Mr. Charles Jackson Cameron, Sr., 72, of Cameron, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in West End, North Carolina. 

Charles Jackson Cameron, Sr of Cameron N.C. was born September 7, 1952, to his parents; the late Mrs. Annie Cameron Jackson and the late Mr. L. D. Jackson.  He transited into his eternal rest on August 16, 2025, at the Fist Health Hospice and Palliative Care in West End, North Carolina. 

He was proceeded in death by his sister Sharon Jackson Snipes.

Charles grew up in Lee County.  He attended Benhaven School in Olivia, N. C.  He worked at Sara Lee Knit Products for 15 years.  Charles also worked at the Foundry in Sanford for 30 years until he retired.

"Moon-Dog" which everyone call him was very funny.  Moon-dog was a joy to be around.  He didn't bother nobody and was kind to everyone he met.  He was loved by everyone.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son Charles Jackson Cameron, Jr., Three sister Judy McKeithen, Bobbie Wrenn (Michael), Peggy Cotten (Gerald), Two brothers Jimmy Jackson Sr., and Melvin Jackson Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
