Cassandra Elizabeth (McPhatter) Jones

Mrs. Cassandra Elizabeth Jones, 71, of Southern Pines, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at her residence.

CasSandra Elizabeth McPhatter Jones, daughter of the late Emmanuel McPhatter and Wilhelmina Pugh McPhatter, was born on January 6, 1952, in Southern Pines, North Carolina. She departed this life on March 7, 2023, at her home.

CasSandra graduated from West Southern Pines High School. She retired from The County of Moore, where she was a social worker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that was always outgoing.

Loving memories of her life will be cherished by her husband, Herman Jones, Sr.; her daughter, CasSandra Nicholle Jones; her son, Herman Jones, Jr.(Alease); her grandchildren, Aniya Jones, Aiden Buckley, and Herman “LJ” Jones, III; special cousins, Judy Lindsay and Roger Pugh, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and
