Mrs. Candice Chuzas Jeffery, 50, of Southern Pines, North Carolina passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, North Carolina.  Her family was by her side.

Candice was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, on January 17th, 1974.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marcel Goneau, Jr. and her father Raymond Peter Chuzas, Jr.

Candice is survived by her children, Sophie Claire Jeffery and Maximus Osais Goneau, both of Southern Pines; her mother, Pamela Bibey Taylor; her sisters, Amanda Dabbs (Ducey), Kimberly Taylor Johnson of Wilmington, North Carolina and Jennifer Taylor of Carthage, North Carolina; brothers, Nicholas Chuzas and Timothy Chuzas.

Candice was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend.  She was known throughout the community for her generosity and helping hands.

A Celebration of Life will follow at a later time.
