Brandon Ardezes Gilchrist was born on December 18, 1989, to the late Tony Ardezes Gilchrist and Sharon Danette Stewart Poe. Brandon transitioned to his Heavenly home on December 28, 2021. He was the youngest of his siblings and was born at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC.
Brandon attended Harnett County Schools. Many loved him and he loved them all, especially his children. He was a “Jack of all Trades” who loved working outdoors, particularly in the construction industry.
Brandon was a loving young man who was compassionate, caring, and amazing. He enjoyed being among his family and friends, and he met many individuals during his life’s journey.
Brandon was preceded in death by his parents; Tony Ardezes Gilchrist and Sharon Danette Stewart Poe, paternal grandparents; Neil Pulley and Mary O. Richardson; maternal grandparents; Daniel Beatty Stewart and Louvenia Baker Stewart, paternal aunt Vanessa Cotton, maternal aunts Carolyn Smith and Fran Shumate.
Brandon leaves to cherish his memories; three children; Jasmine Danette Gilchrist, Deziree Marie Gilchrist, and Michael Edward Gilchrist all of Broadway, NC; two brothers; Rolando King (Temeka) of Fayetteville, N.C.; Samuel Poe (Tammy) of Broadway, N.C.; step-mother; Karen Johns-Gilchrist of Cameron, NC; three paternal aunts, Teresa Harris (David) of Spring Lake, NC; Claudia Wright (Larry) of Tampa, FL, and Nikkie Covington-Gilchrist Brown (Christopher) of Charlotte, N.C.; three paternal great aunts, Ellen Brewington (Henry) of Cameron, NC; Luvenia Jones of Cameron, NC, and Shirley Gilchrist of Spring Lake, NC; two special paternal aunts, Dr. Pastor Alice Hooker of Sanford, NC and Bobbie Jordan of Cameron, NC; two maternal aunts, Deborah Cole (Danny) and Belinda Rogers both of Broadway, NC; four maternal uncles, Daniel, Michael, Mickey, and Jeff Stewart all of Broadway, NC; one paternal niece, Aviona King; three paternal nephews Juan, James, and Zyaire King, all of Fayetteville, NC; one maternal nephew, Dawson Poe; Kristie Morrison (girlfriend) and Heather Pritt (children's mother) of Broadway, NC; he also leaves his memories to a host of family and friends, who loved him dearly.
