Mrs. Blanca Daisy Marquez, 69, of Sanford, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 22, 2024 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Blanca Daisy Marquez, 69, passed away on September 24, 2024, at Duke Hospital. She was the wife of Tomas Reyes and the mother of Nolvia Ramirez and Abner Ramirez. She and Tomas  shared 32 years of marriage.

Born on April 15th, 1955 in el Progreso Yuro, Honduras. She was the daughter of Adelaida Garcia. Blanca attended nursing school and became a nurse in Honduras. She moved to the United  States for a better life and to help her family, which was left behind in Honduras. She was always a hard-working woman. She grew up as a Christian and always had faith in God.

Blanca loved her family, husband, and dog named Barney. She has always loved to have family time, cook, and garden. She will be remembered for the intense love and strength that she always carried.

She is survived by her daughter, Nolvia Ramirez; her son, Abner Ramirez; and her partner, Tomas Reyes.

The funeral service to honor Blanca’s life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 5pm at Ministerio Internacional Nueva Vision (2626 Watson Ave Sanford NC, 27330). The burial will take  place the following day, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 9am at Buffalo-Jonesboro Cemetery (1130 Fire Tower Rd Sanford NC, 27330).
