Billy was a fun-loving man that enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a passion for music, and he was a great dancer. He loved grilling out and spending time with family and friends. Billy also enjoyed fishing from time to time in his younger years and also enjoyed going to the beach. Billy's signature was his million-dollar smile and his bubbly personality. Everyone loved Billy and always enjoyed him being around.
Billy attended Greenwood Elementary School and later moved to W.B. Wicker School, where he graduated with his high school diploma. After graduating from high school, Billy immediately went to work at the Brick Yard in Sanford, North Carolina. Billy always strived for better, so after a short term at the Brick Yard, Billy gained employment at the Lee County Hospital where he was an Orderly for years. After leaving the hospital, he became employed with the city of Sanford, where he worked for years and held many different positions until he moved to Raleigh and became employed at the Raleigh Flee Market Mall. While working for the Flee Market Mall, Billy gained many friends that became family to him. He served as manager over maintenance until he retired. After retirement, Billy enjoyed his wife, children, grandchildren, gardening, and watching his favorite shows, wrestling, westerns, game shows, and old private eye shows. He lived a full life until the end of his journey.
Preceding Billy in death was his eldest brother, Artis McKeithen, his younger brother, Marshall McKeithen, his sister, Brenda McKeithen Foxx, and a brother-in-law whom he loved dearly, Robert "Shag" Foxx.
