Mr. Anthony Leon Bennett, 57, of Fayetteville, North Carolina entered into eternal rest on Wednesday,  May 21, 2025.

ALL EYES ON ME

Anthony Leon Bennett Sr., beloved son of Lorena Bennett and Wiley Pollock Sr., passed away on May 21, 2025. Born on August 28, 1967, Anthony was the eldest of eight siblings: Bridget  Pollock, Wiley Pollock Jr., William Pollock Sr., Kwesi Pollock Sr., Corey Spade, Marketta Mozell, Antonio Pollock Sr., and Kamau Bell.

PICTURE ME ROLLIN

Anthony received his education in the Miami-Dade County Public School system, from which he matriculated. He was a proud member of the Miami Northwestern Sr High Marching band and  later graduated from D. A. Dorsey Community School, an extension of Miami Northwestern Sr. High School.

I GET AROUND

Anthony's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his work. He welcomed his first child, Anthony Bennett Jr., on February 4, 1983. Then, on August 25, 1989, he celebrated the birth of his daughter, Antynia. Anthony worked as a warehouse selector for Henry Lee and later became a CDL truck driver, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment.

CALIFORNIA LOVE

In 1993, Anthony met Donna Nesbitt, and they fell deeply in love. Their bond led to marriage in 1997, a testament to their enduring affection and partnership. Anthony shared a special bond with  his cousin Cynthia Porter, who was a constant source of support and companionship throughout his life.

AMBITIOUZ AZ A RIDAH

Anthony had a passion for music, playing drums, and loved listening to Tupac, finding solace and inspiration in his lyrics. He was also a master on the BBQ grill, delighting family and friends with  his chicken and ribs. His brother, Wiley Jr., was not only his sibling, but also his best friend, sharing countless memories and a deep, unbreakable bond.
