Annie Mildred (McLeod) Rogers

Mrs. Annie Mildred (McLeod) Rogers, 85, of Vass, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

In His all-wise providence, God saw fit to take out of this world, Annie Mildred Rogers. She was called from labor to eternal rest on September 30, 2023, in Moore County, North Carolina.

Our dear mother was born on October 8, 1937, to the late Theodore and Beulah McLeod in Pinehurst, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donnie V. Rogers.

Annie enjoyed and was a faithful senior choir member for several years. She also participated and served in the fellowship hall on many occasions. Annie looked forward to being present for Sunday School and other church events.

Annie’s hobbies included solitaire games, puzzles, playing checkers, and solving word searches.

Annie lived a simple and mild-mannered life. She enjoyed family, but her greatest joy was interacting with her grandchildren.

Annie leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Glennis of the home and Darrell of Bronx, New York; a grandson, Eddie Rogers (Kiley) of Vass, North Carolina; three great-grandchildren, Isiah, Jayden, Alayna; a sister, Mary L. Rogers of Vass, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear  friends.
