Annette Spivey Goins

Ms. Annette Spivey Goins, 82, of 1811 Hart Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Central Carolina Hospital of Sanford, North Carolina.

Annette was born to Kermit Theodore Spivey and Myrtle Cole Spivey on March 14, 1939.

Annette graduated from high school in 1959. She worked for Curry Company, and was employed there for 13 years. She later began working for Walmart, and was employed there for 15 years.

Annette loved to decorate. Every holiday she would beautifully decorate her home. She also loved her cat, solving word puzzles, and listening to the Harvesters Quartet as well as the Gaither Vocal Band.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Goins; her parents Kermit and Myrtle Spivey; her wonderful daughter Melanie Glennette Martin O'Quinn; her brother Johnnie Wayne Spivey; and her special aunt Earlene Peele.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her granddaughter; 2 great-grandsons; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and loved ones. 

Arrangements are entrusted to McLeod Funeral Home of Sanford, North Carolina.
